
The process
All designs start out with a basic pencil sketch. The drawings get worked and sometimes completely redesigned until they are perfect. After they have been inked and completed, the drawings are digitized so they can be cut out of flexible wood veneer. The wood is then stained before a UV and water resistant layer is added to maximize durability. After two days of drying, the final wood images are ready to be pressed onto quality hats.
